About me

Hi there and a warm welcome to my site. Ever since I moved to the Isle of Wight as a child, I have been fascinated and inspired by the sea, land and huge skies that I grew up loving and drawing. After moving to London and starting a career in IT, a view of feet on the tube (because you never look up) or motorway signage were the only vistas I had to appreciate for many years.
After the birth of my daughter, I began to take her back to my Island for regular holidays and reignited my passion for the power of the sea and the incredible landscapes it has to offer. This lead to a love affair with the UK coastlines all over the country. We enjoyed many staycations in Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and beyond, fueled by Covid lockdowns and restrictions.
Art and creativity has always been hobby for me. I've created numerous birthday cakes in the shape of animals, model makes for my daughters toy animals, paintings and drawings for family, friends or just for me to hang at home.
My painting journey started with pen & ink then moving to acrylics and finally landing in a place that I love - oils. Oil painting is addictive, smelly and heavenly. It takes time so patience is something I have had to harness but the rewards are well worth the drying times!
As a housewife and mum, I wanted to see if it really is possible to do what you love for a living. Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you are feeling the same as me then no time like the present to give it a go too? But please have a little browse of my prints first before you go.
Hope you enjoy looking and feel free to email me if you have any questions about my prints for sale and make sure you sign up for news of new prints and collections.
Remember to look up!
